Porthminster Beach Cafe

My partner asked for cod rather than haddock and was told not available. Lady on next table had already told us she had ordered and received cod, but assumed just a mix up. Other customer came in and ordered cod and was told yes they could have it. When confronted with this the waiter said my partner had not ordered cod, suggesting she was lying. We then talked to the manager who said there had been a mistake, however that she had indeed been served cod, which it clearly was not. It was a most bizarre incident following up with a bill for the full amount. The food itself was also sub standard . The menu here is not cheap to say the least, and the offering on this occasion well below an acceptable standard, not to mention the appalling service. Buck your ideas up !
